Contracts are a vital part of many Dynamics 365 deployments and with e-signatures, you have a convenient and secure way to sign documents electronically.
In Dynamics 365, you can use electronic signatures for critical business processes like Proposal and Purchase Agreements, NDAs, Leases, Enrollments, Donation receipts, or Work orders, the versatility of e-signatures within Dynamics 365 is demonstrated in various industries and business processes.
With DocumentsCorePack you can define e-signature fields directly in your template, create the contract, and start the e-signature process with a single click. You also have real-time status of the e-signature process in your Dynamics 365 environment and immediate access to the signed document.

DocumentsCorePack provides seamless integration with three leading e-signature providers:
- 1 DocuSign: Integrating DocumentsCorePack with DocuSign
- 2 Adobe Sign: Integrating DocumentsCorePack with Adobe Sign.
- 3 AssureSign: Integrating DocumentsCorePack with AssureSign.
Prepare a template for e-signing
After successfully installing and configuring the e-signature solution within Dynamics 365, proceed to create a document using the DocumentsCorePack Template Designer. Utilize the Insert Field option to seamlessly embed signature fields directly into the template.
Additionally, establish a signing order through the Field Properties, and specify the number of required signees for the document.

E-signing via DocumentsCorePack dialog
Contracts can be created via the Create Document button in Dynamics 365. Upon selecting the contract template, you will find options to trigger the e-signing as part of the processing steps:
Simply check ❶ Attach document and select ❷ as (e-signing provider of your choice) email (Note: In this example it is DocuSign). Once selected, you are asked to determine the ❸ recipient(s) (persons send the contract too and therefore
❹ In-person signing: In-person signing streamlines the signing process for face-to-face meetings. With this option selected, you will be provided with a link to sign the document directly once the contract is generated. Note: Per default, the contract is sent to the signees by email. The host, who must have an e-signature account, initiates the session and guides signers through the document signing. Signers only need to be present with the host to complete the signing process. E-Signature automation via Power Automate
Prerequisites: Activate DocumentsCorePack connector
Streamline contract management by automating the generation and e-signature process using DocumentsCorePack’s Sign DocumentJob (sync)(V3) action for contracts. Set the parameters:
❶ Row ID: Unique identifier of the record the e-Sign record will be attached to. In this example, the E-signing template gets attached to a quote.
❷ Table Name: Table name of the record the e-Sign record will be attached to.
❸ DocumentJob ID: Unique identifier of the DocumentJob to sign.
❹ Signing provider: Select your provider, in this example it is DocuSign.
❺ Signee Name-1: Enter the parameters for the first signee. If you need a second signee, simply click on the +Add new item button.
❻ Signee InPerson-1: In-person signing streamlines the signing process for face-to-face meetings. The host, who must have an e-signature account, initiates the session and guides signers through the document signing. Signers only need to be present with the host to complete the signing process.
