Deep Fetch Analyzer

What is a Deep Fetch Analyzer?

The Deep Fetch Analyzer is a feature that is required  for templates with many relationships and basically executes the fetch in an alternative way.

When should the Deep Fetch Analyzer be used?

  1. In case there are problems when using the calculated fields-functionality.
  2. If more than 10 linked entities are used, you could get the following error message:

How to activate the Deep Fetch Analyzer / Troubleshoot

If it is needed to enable the Deep Fetch Analyzer, follow this way. Open a Word template and

❶ navigate to the “mscrm-addons.com”-tab,
❷ [Insert Mail Merge fields]–button and
❸ click the Advanced Template Settings

The “Template Settings” opens. Go to the “General”-tab and select “Use Deep Fetch Analyzer”. Press the [OK]-button and the Deep Fetch Analyzer is enabled.

To update the existing fetch and trigger the Deep Fetch option, please delete a merge field of the mentioned relationship from the template, re-add this and save the template.
