How to avoid the browser security-check for *.url files in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM)

This article outlines how to avoid the browser security-check for *.url files in your Dynamics 365.

Requirements: ActivityToolsPluginExtension Solution (learn more about the solution and how to install it here).

Once the ActivityToolsPluginExtension solution is installed, you can open *.url files from within our feature and thus, avoid the browser security-check for *.url files in Microsoft Dynamics CRM (365). Simply click on an *.url-file (1) in our feature and the corresponding URL (2) will open immediately.
