License Count

There are two types of licenses counting mechanism varies depending on the type of license being used

  1. Normal licenses (Full access – read/write)
  2. TeamMember licenses

If you want to know how to reduce license count, here is more information.

Please Note: In your Dynamics 365 you have the possibility to create teams, like a “sales”-team for example to which you can assign user and security roles. Every user who is assigned to this team is assigned to every role of this team.

Every role that has write access to any entity (not just the MSCRM-ADDONS entities) will be counted. Write access allows the user to trigger a Workflow and therefore counts.
