At the beginning of May, our team headed to Cologne for the European Collaboration Summit (ECS) 2026, one of Europe’s largest Microsoft community and partner events. With more than 2,500 attendees, ECS proved to be a major gathering point for the Microsoft ecosystem.
Microsoft’s strong involvement throughout the event made ECS especially valuable for IT administrators, cloud professionals, and Azure-focused audiences looking to stay up to date with the latest developments, roadmap insights, and innovations across the Microsoft landscape. The overall session quality and content throughout the conference were excellent and created plenty of opportunities for learning and exchange.
In addition to the expo, we also hosted a session directly in the exhibition area, where we shared insights into optimizing document processes and productivity within Microsoft business applications. The session was well received and sparked several interesting follow-up discussions afterward.
One of the highlights of ECS continues to be the opportunity to reconnect with partners, customers, and familiar faces from across the Microsoft community. Networking remains an important part of events like these, and it was great catching up with existing contacts and exchanging ideas in person again.
From a business perspective, the event also gave us valuable insights into audience alignment and market focus. ECS has a particularly strong concentration of cloud, infrastructure, and Azure-related topics, which creates a slightly different attendee profile compared to the more Dynamics 365 and Power Platform-focused events we typically attend.
