How to rename a relationship table

693 views 1 Updated on July 25, 2022

Learn in this blog article how to rename a relationship table in your DocumentsCorePack TemplateDesigner of your Dynamics 365. First, you must open your Insert Fields Dialog either an existing or new DcoumentsCorePack Template. How to create new Template is described here.

Press the “Additional”-tab and select the table you want to rename and then click on the [Rename]-button on the right (highlighted in yellow).

This gives you the option to describe your used relationship a little bit more in detail to simplify your template design.  Everything additional you want to describe can be put in the Textbox below.

A green tick shows you, that you can start to rename your table. Press the green tick again to confirm the new name of the table. If you want to add a description, you can use the field which opened up.

Please Note:  Don´t use special characters in the name like ( “ ) ( ‘ ) ( = ) ( ; ) ( < ) ( > ), because they won´t work.

That’s it! We appreciate your feedback! Please share your thoughts by sending an email to support@mscrm-addons.com.
