This article is valid for ActivityTools and SmartBar for Dynamics 356 version 9.x
When you navigate through Dynamics 365 and ActivityTools sporadically shows
- “No Activities found” although related activities exist or
- activities which do not belong to the opened main record
Then the reason could be, that the information of the main record cannot be accessed.
But we have a solution:
When you embed the ActivityTools or/and the SmartBar MainPage into the Dynamics 365 form, please check “Pass record object-type code and unique identifier as parameters” (see Figure 1). This should ensure that it always has the reference to the correct main record.
